Love My Sibs

I recently had the opportunity to fly to Salt Lake City and was fortunate to see all of my siblings. Tyler's football team had their annual bowl game and what a game it was! It was great to see the win, but even better to see my family. We capped off the night at the Huntsman Center just like the good old days. What a night to remember.

Big Changes

So, it's been nearly a year since my last post and a lot has changed. Erik and I moved our entire family to Spearfish, South Dakota in August. It's been a big change for all of us, but we are really enjoying it. Erik and his brother, Karl, are working hard out in the forest everyday, while I am becoming a celebrity in town. I work at the local clinic as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and it hasn't taken long for everyone to know me who lives around here. The kids have adjusted well and are all seemingly happy in their new schools. Life is just crazy! You just never know what will happen next. Kelsee is looking for prom dresses, Kolby and Carter can't stop talking about girls, Sammy is busy tumbling around at her new gymnastics facility, and Tanner is keeping everyone laughing.

OOPS!

For all those who know how to do this thing.... I have seriously failed thus far. It has only been a matter of months since I have looked at this blog. It took me nearly twenty minutes to find my own blog. If any of you out there have tips to keeping yourself sane and still keeping your family and friends aware of what's going on, please share!

The Lehman Home

In October of 2006, Erik and I stook on an ugly lot in an old neighborhood in Sandy, UT. We looked at the overgrown weeds, the chain-link fence, and the swarms of bugs and said "this is the place". As we climbed through the mess, we stood in the center of this lot and looked west to see the entire valley and east to see the most amazing mountains. We knew at that moment we had found the lot of our dreams.....

Then, we had to find the home of our dreams to match it. We designed our home with the perfect windows to complement the views. Over the next fifteen months, we watched this ugly old lot evolve into a beautiful custom home with a half-acre of space for the kids to play.

We were fortunate to move into our home in January of 2008. Since that time, we have managed to get a good chunk of landscaping out of the way and even managed to have a garden. We can sit on our deck and watch the sunset, overlook amazing lightning storms, and BBQ to our hearts desire.

We look forward to having many great family moments in this home!!

Upcoming Event

Kelsee is currently dancing with Spirit Productions with several friends from school. She has her first performance coming up at Rice Eccles Stadium at the half time show during the October 18th University of Utah football game. They will be dancing with our ever favorite "glitter babes". She is very excited and hopes that anyone who can attend the game, will enjoy the dance as well. Go UTES!
